Our Mission

Having had years of experience working in residential treatment understand the challenges that counselors and therapist hav⁸e finding the healthiest chemical free sober living home for their persons served.
Having a client do very well in treatment and then having to refer them to an environment at a sober living house that is not healthy. In some instances worse than where the person came from is disheartening.

Our schedule

Arlenes House has Weekly House meetings. Residents attend weekly 12 step meeting in house and outside meetings. Residents are required to have a guide or mentor in the 12 step program. Most residents at Arlenes House are living a daily application of  the 12 step program and have 12 step sponsors. Ladies that do not drive can arrange rides with the house Manger and women’s support group.

Curfew is 10pm Sunday through Thursday. 11pm Friday and Saturday. Residents are eligible for weekend passes after 1 month if approved by house staff.

Rent is $125 per week. Residents must pay a deposit of $125 along with the 1st weeks rent.

Our Way

Arlene’s House offers a second to to none sober living environment. It is a house that women can call home. It is a 4 bedroom 3 bath home in a quiet rural city of Rayville Louisiana with a very serene view of nature. Arlene’s House is a SOBER, SAFE environment where women can commit to change and personal growth in their individual recovery program. Women will be introduced to a group of other recovering women in the 12 step community. They will have access to a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Clinical Supervisor that will meet the residents where they are upon completion of their treatment.

Eligibility

Preferably women ages 45-65 years old with a car and job that are in need of sober living.
